New at MCHH This September: Women’s Empowerment Group

“The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t  have any.” (Alice Walker, author of “The Color Purple”) 

This 7-week group will focus on: 

  • Self-Esteem &Validation: Believing in yourself!
  • Setting Boundaries: Learning how to block criticisms, say “no” and take control of your own life 
  • Healthy Relationships: Believing that you are deserving of good treatment and how to communicate your expectations
  • Assertiveness: Explore and learn effective ways to  communicate your needs and wants

Led by Robyn Ozelis, LPC 

Monday 6:30pm-7:30 pm—September 5th to October 24, 2022. Cost $210 for the 7-week class 

This group is open to women 18 years old and older and will be held at 1000 Jorie Boulevard, Suite 36 Oak Brook, IL 60523.

Jennifer, Founder and Clinical Director of Midwest Center for Hope & Healing, is a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 20 years’ experience in providing individual, couple and family therapy. She attended Concordia University Chicago where she received a Master of Arts in Community Counseling with honors. She has worked with men, women, adolescence and children who are dealing with a variety of life situations and struggles. Jennifer specializes in anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, divorce, domestic violence, stress and self-esteem. She uses a person-centered, holistic and cognitive-behavioral approach in her therapy to help clients meet their goals.
