What Is LENS Neurofeedback Therapy
LENS Neurofeedback is an innovative, effective and natural therapeutic approach that teaches self-control of brain functions. By measuring brain waves and providing a feedback signal, Clients can balance and normalize their brain function and better regulate their body. Considered a “non-traditional” low energy neurofeedback, also called EEG Biofeedback, LENS focuses on electrical brain activity without the use of any audio or visual stimulation. LENS works to lift suppression in the brain allowing the brain to be more flexible and function more optimally. Being able to self-regulate is a necessary part of optimal brain performance and function thus allowing the nervous system to function better.
Who can Benefit from LENS Neurofeedback
We all know individuals who are stuck in patterns of thoughts and feelings that make them unhappy and hopeless. No matter what they try, they can’t seem to find relief or change. LENS neurofeedback can help adults, teens and children who struggle with mental health, performance, sleep, emotional issues and ailments of all kinds. Doctors and researchers have recommended LENS Neurofeedback for individuals suffering from:
- Addiction / Dependencies
- Autism and Asperger’s
- Concussion and Traumatic Brain Injury
- Mood Disorders
- Motivation (Lack of)
- Neurological Issues
- Panic Attacks
- Performance Optimization
- Post-Partum Depression

Combined with psychotherapy, LENS neurofeedback treatment is optimal in these cases. LENS helps make the brain more flexible and therapy provides support and coaching for how to make changes and develop new patterns in how we deal with your thoughts and emotions.
What to expect during your LENS Neurofeedback Sessions
LENS is a very safe low energy type of therapy. During your sessions a therapist attaches sensors to the client’s head in order to record their brainwaves (EEG waves). For only a few seconds, LENS mirrors back the brain’s faint electromagnetic impulses. This brain-mirroring allows dysfunctional patterns in the brain to reorganize and optimize functions. The information signal is far weaker than the electromagnetic field around a watch, yet it typically triggers the brain to make profound, lasting changes. The first session with our therapists lasts between 45 and 50 minutes. Subsequent sessions typically last between 15 and 30 minutes.
