If you are searching for neurofeedback therapy near me, neurofeedback treatment, or an experienced neurofeedback therapist, Midwest Center for Hope & Healing offers a natural, low-energy approach designed to support better brain regulation and overall wellness. Our LENS neurofeedback services may help clients struggling with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, sleep issues, depression, OCD, panic attacks, and more.
Neurofeedback therapy is a type of brain training therapy that uses information about brainwave activity to help the brain function in a more balanced and flexible way.
At Midwest Center for Hope & Healing, we offer LENS neurofeedback, a low energy neurofeedback approach also known as EEG biofeedback. Unlike some other methods, LENS focuses on electrical brain activity without audio or visual stimulation.
This approach is designed to support self-regulation, brain flexibility, and improved nervous system function. When combined with counseling, neurofeedback treatment can help clients create healthier patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behavior.
Our Oak Brook team is here to help.
At Midwest Center for Hope & Healing, we provide neurofeedback for children, neurofeedback for teens, and neurofeedback for adults. LENS neurofeedback may be a good fit for individuals who feel stuck in ongoing patterns of stress, focus problems, emotional overwhelm, poor sleep, or difficulty regulating thoughts and feelings.
Whether you are seeking brain training therapy for school-age challenges, support for teen emotional wellness, or help managing adult stress and mental health symptoms, our team provides individualized care in a supportive clinical setting.
LENS is a very safe, low-energy type of neurofeedback therapy. During sessions, a therapist places sensors on the head to record brainwave activity. For a few seconds, the system mirrors back faint electromagnetic impulses based on those EEG patterns. This process is intended to help the brain reorganize dysfunctional patterns and optimize function.
First appointment: 45-50 minutes
Follow-up sessions: typically 15-30 minutes

Posted on Arletta De VTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was completely surprised and disappointed with the service. I scheduled an appointment and specifically requested a provider specializing in grief counseling (after my mother passed) Instead, I met with someone who demonstrated very limited therapeutic communication. Throughout the session, the therapist repeatedly asked for clarification, which suggested that she was not following or fully understanding my concerns. She appeared uncertain, unsure of how to respond, and often seemed lost about what to say or ask. At the end of the session, the only guidance provided was that I should “sleep more and eat more” and “buy some snacks.” There was no meaningful discussion related to grief, coping strategies, or therapeutic support. Overall, it was clear that the provider had little to no experience in grief counseling. Despite this, she suggested scheduling a follow-up appointment. Given the lack of appropriate therapeutic engagement, this was unexpected and disappointing.Posted on LJT cowgirlTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rihanna (I think that's how you spell her name) has been wonderful for couples counseling, it is all very calming there too, nice rooms!Posted on asksimonwhyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It’s not easy to write a review of a counseling service, but need to share how profoundly we have benefited from MCHH’s care. If you have a child or teen that needs skilled and caring therapy I highly recommend this office. They offer a variety of approaches, but we have especially benefited from access to Christian-centered therapy. We can definitely tell that the therapists are coached well and the facility is clean and comfortable. Scheduling is easy and they accept most insurances.Posted on Rebecca BoehmerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My niece has been going to see one of the counselors for 3+ years. It’s hard to find a counselor that you connect with so I’m thrilled that my niece has stuck with her and this organization!Posted on Cindy RojasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
